The springs sunshine has certainly shone on Clywedog this week with light winds and cloudless skies has made the fishing a litttle tricky especially for the bank anglers but good numbers of fish have still being taken from the Bigga arm, Gronwen Field, xsmas trees and Breakwater. Peter Penlington from Caersws took a limit bag from the Xsmas trees area. James Griffiths from Llandrindod Wells enjoyed a good day from the bank in the Bigga Arm tacking 6 fish with his best fish of 3lb 12oz. Boat anglers have enjoyed mixed fortunes with the fish being taken from Willows, Carters, Cwm Coch and Cages area sinking lines have been the order with fast intermediate to fast sink lines taking most of the fish.
Rod average has dropped a little to 3.5
Best fish of the week and season so far goes to Wyn Griffiths of Aberystyth with a whopping rainbow of 14lb 5oz taken on a di 5 line and a carol blob in the cages area. Flies Black and green gold head, orange gold head, cats whisker boobies and black buzzers Propects look good for the easter period with another big stocking due before the holiday. Tightlines Russ
